I have always called Bastrop my home… every now and again I get to go back and re-live those fond memories I had growing up in the small town. Ever year, Bastrop has a Rodeo/Carnival… in when I was in 10th grade I won a t-shirt design contest for the carnival and my drawing was printed on hundreds of shirts that where sold at the carnival to help raise money for the Bastrop Association For the Arts Scholarship… which I happen to be awarded upon graduation.
Sam & Colleen wanted something a little different and fun for their engagement photos so when the Carnival came to town… we jumped on the opportunity. Sam went to school at Bastrop High and I have known him for many years. I am so happy they choose me to photograph their wedding coming next April at Star Hill Ranch!

Some how missed blogging this session earlier… which sucks because it was pretty AWESOME! Sam & Beatriz wanted to take their engagement photos out in Bryan, Texas because they went to school there in College Station. After walking around downtown Bryan, we hit the country side. Enjoy!
A few months back I got to assist Caroline on this awesome vintage inspired engagement session in the Texas Hill Country. The bride and groom had so much style and all the details had a personal meaning to them. Besides almost getting bitten by a rattle snake, I would say the session went GREAT! Here are some of my favorite photos that I took while assisting.
