Planning an Austin wedding can be a full time job. There are so many things to do and not enough time to get them all done. One way to save time is to have everything organized on a  wedding website on MyWedding.com.  They have a ton of templates and colors to fit your wedding style plus you get a cool url like www.mywedding.com/awesomecouple. Don’t forget to keep your friends and family up to date with  the blog feature, and of course, I would love you to show off your engagement or wedding photos with everyone! ;)

Multiple RSVPs: Manage each one of your guest lists for all of your wedding events from your website. Your guests can use this feature to rsvp to the invites they receive by mail and online. You can also use these lists to ask for meal preferences and any special requests for the event and then export the information to a spreadsheet.

McMurtrie Farms Wedding Venue: Pflugerville, Texas

One of my good friends just opened up a new wedding venue in Pflugerville, Texas. Pflugerville is located just minutes north of Austin, so it is a great alternative for wedding sites just outside the busy city. Chealse McMurtrie put together this event for all the vendors to show off their goods. All we needed were some willing participants to model for us. Well… turns out Chealse had some friends who happened to still have their wedding dresses from when they got married and Chealse’s daughter was a perfect flower girl. We had a great time photographing everyone at the event and I can’t wait to shoot my first wedding there in the near future.
Lecia with Beauty on the Go did the hair and make-up. Flower Child Design provided the lovely floral arrangements, and Enchanted Antique Limo’s provided the swanky ride for the shoot and Royal Fig Catered the event. Big thanks to Chealse at McMurtrie Farms for letting use showcase your fabulous venue. The Grand Opening will take place on September 27th, 2009. Hope to see you there!
