Nice session – way to take them all around town. Love the elevator shot. That is a definite inspiration.

I’ve had this post open in a tab in my browser for days now, coming back to scrutinise it once a day, being inspired by it, and wondering just how to sum it all up in a comment.

Daaaaaaamn Ben. These are killer. It’s so rare that I see a set where I’d be proud to have every single photo in my portfolio. This is one of those sets. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful work… especially the flash work. I love the shot with the arrow pointing at their feet.

Agreed, the far-off building is such a wicked backdrop. And her dress is the perfect blend of texture and pattern.

I’m going to link this post to all my clients as an example of dressing to compliment each other without being all matchy-matchy.

Thomas Lester - April 3, 2010 - 11:33 am

Love that first shot. Great DoF and composition. I also love the shot with the building behind the couple (making the rectangle patterns). Perfect use of long lens depth compression! Perfection!
