Why do I need a separate Bridal Session? Can you just take the portraits on my wedding day?
Because you should wear it more than once! The Bridal session is a great time to test out your Dress, Hair and Make-up before the big day. The wedding day can be very hectic and there is just not enough time to get creative portraits that show off your dress.
Where is a good place for Bridal Portrait’s in Austin?
Most venue’s in Austin are available for portrait sessions at a small fee. If you are getting married at a nice venue, ask them if you can use their space, most of the time they will allow their clients to use the space for free.
How long does the session last?
1-2 hrs depending on the venue. A good time to start is 1.5 hrs before sunset.
What to expect…
*Bring a bouquet because it gives you something to do with your hands, it doesn’t have to be as elaborate as your wedding day bouquet.
*Your dress might get slightly dirty so make sure to leave time for cleaning if necessary.
*I will bring a white sheet to put under your dress to keep it clean.
*Bring a friend to help with your dress and give beauty advice.
*Bring pair of sexy heels and a pair of comfortable shoes/slippers to walk around in.
*Bring an open mind and have fun with it!
