Austin Texas... (well the best city in Texas anyway). I began shooting weddings fulltime after I recieved my BFA in Photography from Texas State University. My style is a mixture of fine art portraiture, photojournalism and environmental photography.

Sneak Peek: Travis & Payton’s Wedding at Barr Mansion

Every now and again I get to do something different… This weekend I filmed Travis & Payton’s wedding at The Barr Mansion. You might remember my time-lapse video of Matt & Cori’s wedding at the Terrace Club that I shot a while back. Well, I am at it again, this time with a full arsenal of DSLR cameras and the help of another local videographer, Richard Lizama. I will have the full wedding trailer on my blog soon, but in the mean time, enjoy this time-lapse video of the entire day. Engagement photos at Butler Park: Debra & Scott

Debra & Scott are getting married at Natures Point in Logo vista next week! Scott was such a trooper and did a great job despite getting food poisoning the night before the shoot. The show must go on I say! Here are some of my favorites from the engagement session at Butler Park. Enjoy!

Engagement Photos at Zilker Park: Sean & Elisha

Sean and Elisha decided to have their engagement photos taken at Zilker Park in Austin. One spot in particular has some significant meaning to them out on the edge of Lady Bird Lake. Near Barton Springs pool is a gazebo where Sean and Elisha bought one of the bricks that laid the foundation. So cute!

Austin Engagement Photos at Butler Park: Terri & Mark

Terri & Mark are getting in Austin this September. They were such a fun couple to work with, so goofy and I loved it! I love to capture peoples neutral expressions and emotions. We walked around Butler park and down to auditorium shores area located on Lady Bird Lake. The weather was perfect but it was just a little bit crowded because of the SXSW music festival that was going on in Austin at the time. Enjoy!

FYI – I will be heading out of town on Monday. I am shooting one of my clients engagement photos in New York City! So excited! I have never been! So I might not be answering as many e-mails but keep checking back on the blog as I will be posting a lot of new shoots over the next week!
