Wow! What a beautiful day my birthday turned out to be! The weather was perfect and I got to hang out with some awesome clients to shoot their engagement photos in Austin, Texas. Sam & Matt are getting married on April 25th at one of my favorite wedding venues, Red Corral Ranch. I just shot Sam’s Bridal Portraits yesterday but I can’t post them until after the wedding… Here are some of my favorite images from their engagement session that we shot on Lady Bird Lake and South Congress area.

They turned out really fantastic. I love how well you were able to make the natural beauty of one of our favorite areas stand out, too.
I like the subtle flash work and I love that one of the tree branches with flowers. Gorgeous colors!
Your color work is sick and love how clean and sharp their faces look in black and white. My favorite is the one with the budding tree.

Agreed, the far-off building is such a wicked backdrop. And her dress is the perfect blend of texture and pattern.
