Wildflower engagement session: Jack & Jessy

Second time in a month at the LBJ wildflower center and I gotta say… despite the Texas heat, it is one of the COOLEST places to shoot in Austin! I had a great time with Jack & Jessy who happen to be getting married at Laguna Gloria, same venue as Karly & Chris who also had their engagement session at the LBJ Wildflower center!

Karly & Chris were super awesome and naturals in front of the camera! After roaming around the LBJ Wildflower Center we head over to my favorite little wine bar in Austin called Opa Cafe to wine’d down! Get it? Wine’d down…;)Can’t wait to shoot their wedding at Laguna Gloria!

Austin Wedding Photography: Party Booth!

A couple weeks ago I had the pleasure to work with a great Austin Wedding Photographer, James Dvorscak. I second shot for him during the wedding, which was fabulous, but the real fun was operating the Photo Booth (It’s more like a portable, party booth!). It is a great edition to any wedding reception and ensures that you get a photo of everyone at your wedding, and it’s FUN!!! All you need is a backdrop, some fun props and a little bit of alcohol and let the party begin.




Another GREAT idea I recently stumbled upon on The Knot is the create a Video Guest book. Check out this awesome video from Hello Super 8 films.
