San Marcos Engagement Photos: Ginger + James

Last Sunday, while most people in Austin were watching the Super Bowl, I was in San Marcos shooting an engagement session with two of my clients. Ginger & James are getting married on March 28th 2010 at the Texas Federation of Women’s Club Mansion in Austin Texas. Despite cold and muggy weather we had a great time roaming around the abandoned parks on the TX State Campus. Some of you might remember, that I graduated from TX State last December with a BFA in Photography, so I was completely at home. Ginger currently works at the university, and James and her frequently hang out in the beautiful parks on campus. James actually made and fashioned the large wooden swing featured in the photos below which was tons of fun and added a personal touch to their engagement portraits. I had a blast hanging out with Ginger & James and I can’t wait till the wedding! And trough the power of DVR, I didn’t miss any of the Superbowl commercials!;)

Sneak Peek: Ashley & Jason Sanchez

Today I photographed a fantastic wedding in Austin Texas. Ashley and Jason are two awesome, energetic, and high fiveing lovebirds! They were so much fun to work with and they are fellow bobcats! Go Bobcats! The wedding was perfect and they had a huge bridal party to accompany them. I never got around to posting their engagement photos or the bridal portrait’s until now. I also included a sneak peek of the wedding! Make sure to check back soon for the rest of the wedding photos.

Grace & Steven: San Marcos Wedding Video + Photography

This video was made with the Canon 5d MarkII. I was the ONLY photographer covering this event and I shot both the Video and Photography, that’s why all the video is on a tripod. Hard work, but I love it!

Grace and Steven have been together for many years now, and decided to tie the knot on April 17th 2009 in San Marcos at the Crystal River Inn. Here are some of my favorite pics from this very small but intimate wedding.

Thank you for stopping by, feel free to leave a comment!

San Marcos Wedding Photography: Elle & Matt

Back in April I got to shoot Elle and Matt’s Engagement Photos. We had such a great time in San Marcos roaming around the city looking for interesting locations. Well, they got married on June 6th 2009 at the First Baptist Church in San Marcos. They kept the wedding small and intimate with close Family and Friends. The wedding celebration only lasted 4 hours but I had just enough time with them to create some fun images. They decided to go with a tropical themed reception using sea shells and pearls to decorate the tables. (They went to Costa Rica for the Honey Moon… sooo jealous!!!) Everyone was so nice and friendly, I hope to keep in touch with them in the future. I hope you enjoy the images as much as I did taking them…

Engagements on the San Marcos River

We had an amazing time shooting Mike and Leighs engagements on the San Marcos River. Caroline has known them for years and they were willing to do an crazy thing we asked them to do. They were such a fun couple to shoot. I also got some hilarious video clips of the two. Enjoy!
