Oh how I miss San Marcos… I spent many sleepless nights on this campus while studying fine art photography. It is a love hate relationship…
But I always love the the opportunity to go back to campus and take more pictures! Liz and Zach went to school at Texas State so it only natural that we would shoot their engagement session there. San Marcos River… I will be visiting you very soon…![]()

Last Sunday, while most people in Austin were watching the Super Bowl, I was in San Marcos shooting an engagement session with two of my clients. Ginger & James are getting married on March 28th 2010 at the Texas Federation of Women’s Club Mansion in Austin Texas. Despite cold and muggy weather we had a great time roaming around the abandoned parks on the TX State Campus. Some of you might remember, that I graduated from TX State last December with a BFA in Photography, so I was completely at home. Ginger currently works at the university, and James and her frequently hang out in the beautiful parks on campus. James actually made and fashioned the large wooden swing featured in the photos below which was tons of fun and added a personal touch to their engagement portraits. I had a blast hanging out with Ginger & James and I can’t wait till the wedding! And trough the power of DVR, I didn’t miss any of the Superbowl commercials!![]()
Today I photographed a fantastic wedding in Austin Texas. Ashley and Jason are two awesome, energetic, and high fiveing lovebirds! They were so much fun to work with and they are fellow bobcats! Go Bobcats! The wedding was perfect and they had a huge bridal party to accompany them. I never got around to posting their engagement photos or the bridal portrait’s until now. I also included a sneak peek of the wedding! Make sure to check back soon for the rest of the wedding photos.
This video was made with the Canon 5d MarkII. I was the ONLY photographer covering this event and I shot both the Video and Photography, that’s why all the video is on a tripod. Hard work, but I love it!
Grace and Steven have been together for many years now, and decided to tie the knot on April 17th 2009 in San Marcos at the Crystal River Inn. Here are some of my favorite pics from this very small but intimate wedding.
