Second time in a month at the LBJ wildflower center and I gotta say… despite the Texas heat, it is one of the COOLEST places to shoot in Austin! I had a great time with Jack & Jessy who happen to be getting married at Laguna Gloria, same venue as Karly & Chris who also had their engagement session at the LBJ Wildflower center!

Another amazing wedding at the Red Corral Ranch! I am really falling in love with this country wedding venue! This time Beatriz & Sam choose to get married on The Labyrinth under a tradition Jewish Hupa. Jessica from Something to Celebrate did a fantastic job transforming the Big Red Barn into a magical, chandelier lit forest. The guest were entertained all night by music by Look No Further Entertainment and got to roast s’mores by a camp fire to wind down the evening. It was truly a magical night.

One of my favorite, favorite weddings from you, ever. Beautiful all around. And the bride is just stunning. Wow. I loved everything. Great job Ben.
Son fotografías espectaculares desafortunadamnete en Colombia es una tendencia poco conocida
Gossssh this is so superb.
That’s a gorgeous bride, and a beautiful wedding!
Lovely work Ben, you composition is always spot on. Smores look so good!
As many of you might already know, there was a total lunar eclipse last night. This was the first time since 1638 that an eclipse coincided with winter solstice, making it a historic event…. We really wanted to watch, but here in Austin the cloudy cover obstructed our view, so we hopped in the Prius and headed west to try and beat the clouds. It was a race against time because the clouds were rolling west but we made it to Fredericksburg just in time during totality and were able to snap a few photos before the clouds came rolling back in. Here is the time lapse of our whole trip! It was about a 2 hour drive each way. Enjoy!

Awesome photo and loved the video!!
thank you for sharing such a great idea!!
Awesome! Love the moon shot, and the time lapse video is way cool.
I was totally bummed that I didn’t get to see it. Stupid clouds.
Last month I got to shoot at one of my favorite wedding venues in Texas. The Red Corral Ranch is a beautiful wedding venue with a big red barn set in the Texas hill country near Wimberley. It is just nice to get away from the rush of the city. A perfect setting for a wedding! Sarah & Christian got married at the Ranch in Oct. at the Pavilion. The weather was clear and later in the night at the big red barn, we all got to enjoy home-made smores while gazing up at the night sky. Make sure to check out the slideshow at the bottom and Sarah & Christian’s engagement photos here. Also if you haven’t tagged yourself in the Party-Booth photos, head over to facebook to find them!

Whooooooooooa. I’m going down the list, “That’s my favorite. No, that’s my favorite. Wow, that’s my new favorite.” Home run, Ben. All around. The outdoor shots in the field, the shots with the overhead twinkly lights, the black and whites … spectacular.
Colors and details!!! *Swoon*!! I adore the black and white shot of them in the field, has such a wonderful nostalgia about it. Beautiful!
I adore those ceremony angles you used! Fabulous lighting and vivid post work. Well done!
Wow, this is a totally killer set of images. This wedding showcases how talented and versatile you are as a wedding photographer!
Wow! Really solid set!
Stunning! Absolutely LOVVVVE the b&w shot in the field.
I love the detail shots right at the beginning, and I love the portraits – flare!!!. Great job, Ben, I’m sure the couple will be thrilled with these photos!
Wow – You are so technically talented ASWELL as imaginative and creative. Beautiful wedding and of course you’ve captured it so well as usual!
I too, love the light painting… I’m guessing with sparklers? So much art and originality in your work Ben. Just Beautiful!
It’s pointless trying to pick favorite shots because these are all so amazing. Like really amazing. Love that there are so many different kinds of sparkly, gorgeous lights throughout and the couple looks so incredibly happy, it’s got me all smiley.
Oh gosh! I can’t decide which set of images I like best – the first look, the field photos, or the beautiful bokeh and dancing… AWESOME job, Ben!
LOVE that shot with all the flare looking down the aisle… so cool! What a fun wedding – and you captured it beautifully!
Amazing! You’ve really captured the essence of the day.
The portraits and the dancing photos are epic. Great job!
awesome job man, great images!
Your work NEVER disappoints! Awesome balance of photo journalism and creative portraits. Rock on!
Wow Ben, great work. Really love the light painting, and they look so ridiculously happy and excited during that first look. Those are images to treasure for sure.
Lovely work. Your lighting is really top notch. The nighttime reception photos are sooo gorgeous and the long exposure sparkler shot is AMAZING!
Wow! The colours are stunning in this mega cool wedding, the play fighting image with boxing gloves and martial arts head tie = hilarious. Well captured Ben!
Great wedding, Ben. Love the light painting and the portraits of just the two of them. Truly classic.
I have so many favorites from this wedding, Ben, but my all time favorite has got to be the black and white of them in the field. It’s so timeless and beautiful. These are amazing. =)
Heart bokeh, too cute. The shot where your outside, looking into the barn is really nice. Love all the sparkly lights.
I love the details you captured!
Those reception shots are so killer. I love that shot with all the tiny Christmas lights hanging overhead like stars. Beautiful!
Bea & Sam’s wedding at the Red Corral Ranch today was beautiful! Jessica from Something to Celebrate did an amazing job coordinating the whole event. Check out this quick timelapse video I put together of the set-up of the reception hall.
