Mandy & Braxton had a small, intimate wedding at Becker Vineyards out in Fredericksburg, Texas. What a wonderful day it turned out to be! They decided to do a “First Look” before the ceremony in the beautiful Becker Wine Vineyard. I love it when I get plenty of time with the Bride & Groom for portraits! The ceremony was wonderful and the food was to die for! As the evening winded down, I stepped out back and looked up to see the most amazing night sky I have seen in a long time. I grew up in the country and when I was younger I remember being mesmerized by the night sky. I could stare out at the stars and ponder the origin of our existence for hours. That night, the feeling came back to me as I set up the last shot of the night… Enjoy!

Big thanks to Eric Kotara for second shooting!

Man, it has been a busy month! Last month I had the pleasure to travel out near San Antonio, Texas to shoot Lisa and Brandon’s wedding at the Rio Cibolo Ranch. That place has some character! I had such a great time photographing the wedding. Here are some of my favorite shots from the wedding and reception. Enjoy…![]()

Yay!
Today was exciting! I had the opportunity second shoot for a great Austin Wedding Photographer, Ron Parks. Super friendly guy with a great team of photographers based in Austin, Texas. He needed some help shooting a “Celebrity” wedding out at Villa Antonia… Turned out to be the Guitarist of one of my FAVORITE bands, Blue October!!! I wasn’t able to attend the whole wedding because I was in San Antonio shooting another wedding… sometimes it sucks to be busy…
But I made it out for the ending and the exit shot. Caroline on the other hand, was lucky enough to photograph the whole wedding along side Mr. Ron Parks and his crew… It must have been a blast! Check out her slide show of the wedding here. I LOVE MY JOB!!! Below is the only good shot I got as Mr. Hudson and his new bride as they exited the venue to head off to their honey moon on some tropical island…

I have seen Blue October many times in concert over the last few years. They are a local Austin Band after all. Below are a couple photos I took at one of their concerts back in 2007 out in New Braunfels. These were shot with my Canon G7 point and shoot camera… pretty good considering the tough lighting conditions… make sure to check back for more photos.![]()

Might be your only good shot, but it’s a pretty hot one so I’d be happy if I were you
What a lovely wedding… looks like the reception was almost a concert. I bet that it was a great bad or a great band of close friends. Wonderful photographs.
Love the kiss shot! So good. I’m glad you got to shoot too!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! I am so excited to see what is in store for 2010! Here is one of my last wedding’s of 2009.
Kimberley & Wesley got married on Dec. 12th 2009 at the Round Top Festival Institute in Texas. The Edythe Bates Old chapel is beautiful… a little small, but very authentic with a rich history. The wedding was great and despite foggy weather everything went according to plan. Kimberley and I grew up together in Bastrop, so it was a nice to know that I could be apart of her special day. I am so happy for both of them because I could tell that they found true love and will live a long a happy life together. Below are some of my favorite images from the wedding day as well as a slide show with more.
