My name is Ben Godkin, owner and photographer of Godkin Photo. Thank you for stoping by! Here you can find out more about me and my life as a photographer. I live in the best city in the world! Austin Texas... (well the best city in Texas anyway). I began shooting weddings fulltime after I recieved my BFA in Photography from Texas State University. My style is a mixture of fine art portraiture, photojournalism and environmental photography.

Wedding: Michelle and Jake Hauske

Michelle Hauske is a good friend of mine at Texas State. We both went to Italy in a study abroad trip in the summer of 2007. We became good friends through the rest of our college careers. I was so excited when she picked me to be her wedding photographer. She got married to Jake Hauske on August 16th, 2008 in San Antonio Texas at the Southwest School of Arts and Crafts… I had a great time at the wedding and I am glad that I got to capture and be apart of her Italian themed wedding. Godkinphoto is based mainly out of the Austin, Texas but I enjoy shooting weddings in San Antonio. The City is rich with historical churches and landmarks and there are plenty of fantastic locations to shoot.
